Bountiful Lake is one of the larger community fisheries located in west Bountiful, Davis County Utah. Like its name it is bountiful with a variety of sunfish, bass, catfish, and trout species. Bountiful Lake receives moderate fishing pressure, due to the variety of fishing here, and its close proximity to Bountiful, Salt Lake City, Centerville, and Farmington. This is one of the few community fishing spots that allow non-motorized boats, and floats, so if you own a small watercraft you will be able to fish around the islands, and harder to reach shorelines. Most of the water near the shore is shallow (average 1 - 2 feet deep), dropping off to deeper water about 20 - 30 feet from the shore. There are a few deeper fishing spots accessible from the shore, and 2 fishing piers, if the fish are located in the deep cooler water. Try fishing the bridge on the north west side of the lake, or the one on north east side. City:Bountiful. Size:50 Acres.
